What does blue shampoo do?

Blue shampoo contains crushed blue pigments to counteract brassiness in brunette hair. Using blue shampoo and conditioner helps you achieve a cooler, brighter brunette to improve the look and feel of your hair in between colorings.

What’s the difference between purple shampoo and blue shampoo?

Purple shampoo is designed to remove brassy, warm tones in blonde hair while a blue shampoo is designed for brunettes. Purple shampoo uses purple pigments to counteract yellow, brassy tones while blue shampoo uses blue pigments to counteract warm orange pigments in brunette hair.

How long should I leave blue shampoo in my hair?

Depending on your hair’s level of brassiness, you can leave blue shampoo on your hair for longer. For more intense results, leave blue shampoo on your hair for 2-3 minutes before rinsing. Follow with a blue conditioner to soften and smooth your hair.
