For looser, naturally wavy texture: "rake": fingertips through hair to establish wave pattern. Dry naturally.

For strongly-defined curls: "scrunch" hair to encourage curl formation. Blow-dry using a diffuser.

For smooth, straight style: blow-dry hair, section by section, while using a large, flat brush to pull sections taut.
