The warm summer months are great for your mood, but they can wreak havoc on your style if you have fine, limp hair. While curly hair tends to frizz in these humid months, fine hair can go flatter—if you're not prepared. Armed with these volumizing tips, you'll always be ready to step out with beautiful, natural-looking volume.

1. Try a new cut.
The summer is the perfect time to try a new look, and just by trimming inches you can add more volume (and eliminate damaged ends).

2. Restore fullness in the shower.
Try Luxurious Volume Thickening Shampoo and Conditioner for natural-looking volume that starts in the shower. (After shampooing, apply conditioner from ear-level to ends—not the top of the head—to avoid weighing hair down.)

3. Add mousse.
To maximize volume and resist humidity, apply a thickening mousse from root to tip.

4. Dry & lift.
For a sleek, full look, let hair air dry for 10-15 minutes before blow-drying. Start at the roots, using a round bristle brush to lift strands and target the roots.
