Definition & Curl
Create voluminous waves with a 1½-inch curling iron powered by advanced ionic technology.
True ceramic heat reaches up to 400°F/205°C for salon quality results while 11 professional digital settings create customized style for all hair types and textures.
Use lower heat setting for fine hair; medium settings for medium hair; the highest settings for coarse or thick hair.
First, wash hair with John Frieda® Luxurious Volume Thickening Shampoo and Conditioner. Blow-dry hair with John Frieda® Full Volume Dryer with hair flipped upside down for added volume. Once hair is dry, create volume curls by catching the ends of a wide hair section in the spoon, then roll up to the scalp. Hold for 15 seconds, release the curl and then clip it in place. Continue around your entire head. When all of the curls have cooled, remove the clips, shake out the curls and finger-style. Finish with John Frieda® Luxurious Volume Extra Hold Hairspray for all-day volume.
Your John Frieda® styling tool includes a high-voltage (advanced) ionic generator that generates up to 50% more ions than ions created from natural sources. The electronic ionizer generates negative ions, which neutralize positive ions in the atmosphere. This process flattens and seals the hair cuticle, reducing frizziness and flyaways, eliminating static electricity, and contributing to shine and manageability.
The ceramic coating on your John Frieda® styling tool is a fusion of titanium and ceramic that evenly distributes heat to gently style and protect hair from damaging hot spots. The titanium is a harder, more durable, heat-resistant metal able to withstand higher heat than aluminum or other metals.
