Definition & Curl
Tight, bouncy curls are best achieved with a smaller curling iron like a 1-inch barrel model.
With advanced ionic technology and high heat up to 400°F/205°C, this curling iron’s true ceramic technology produces even heat to reduce styling time and leave hair shinier and healthier looking.
11 professional digital settings allow you to choose the best temperature for your hair type.
Use lower heat setting for fine hair, medium settings for medium hair, and the highest settings for coarse or thick hair.
Start with dry hair. To get a tight, bouncy ringlet, start by rolling half-inch sections of hair around a hot one-inch barrel curling iron all the way up to the root. Hold the iron in place for about 25 seconds and release the curl. When you have completed your style, spray with Frizz-Ease® Moisture Barrier Firm Hold Hair Spray and use your fingers to loosen the curls slightly.
Your John Frieda® styling tool includes a high-voltage (advanced) ionic generator that generates up to 50% more ions than ions created from natural sources. The electronic ionizer generates negative ions, which neutralize positive ions in the atmosphere. This process flattens and seals the hair cuticle, reducing frizziness and flyaways, eliminating static electricity, and contributing to shine and manageability.
The ceramic coating on your John Frieda® styling tool is a fusion of titanium and ceramic that evenly distributes heat to gently style and protect hair from damaging hot spots. The titanium is a harder, more durable, heat-resistant metal able to withstand higher heat than aluminum or other metals.
