6 Tips From the Experts
You wouldn't trade your blonde for any other colour.
But you're also aware of the unique problems that go
along with being a blonde: dry, dull, and flat hair;
brassiness; and dark roots between salon visits.
Fortunately, the John Frieda® Hair Care Experts
have solutions to the most common obstacles to achieving that
perfect, shimmering glow.
1
Make Your Colour Last
Finding the perfect blonde hue can be difficult—this is why it's best to consult a stylist or the Precision Foam Colour Shade Selector to find the ideal blonde shade for you. After colouring, choose the right shampoo and conditioner combination to prevent fading and help your colour continue to look fresh. Sheer Blonde® Everlasting Blonde® Colour Preserving Shampoo and Conditioner were specially formulated to address the unique way blonde colour fades on three colour dimensions. They work to keep your blonde true to tone and strands looking smooth and shiny, long after you've applied colour.
2
Highlight Blonde Dimensions
Achieve a radiant look to highlight your multi-dimensional blonde.
For Longer Hair: Brush out hair and secure it in a high ponytail. Twist hair to the ends, then wrap it around the ponytail holder, pinning as you go. Finish by lightly spraying the bun with Frizz-Ease® 100% Shine® Glossing Mist to smooth flyaways.
For Shorter Hair: Create two small braids starting at your hairline and work towards the crown of your head. Pin together and spritz with Sheer Blonde® Crystal Clear Hairspray to keep hair in place without dulling blonde strands.
3
Treat Damage—Weightlessly
Style mavens, take note. If your strands are suffering from the look and feel of damage due to heat tools or hair colour, turn to the Full Repair® line. It will help weightlessly transform your hair into silky, beautiful locks full of renewed life.
Your Time To Shine

Take Control of Your Roots
If your natural hair colour is a darker shade of blonde and you have root regrowth, try applying Sheer Blonde® Go Blonder Controlled Lightening Spray at your roots on towel-dried hair, and apply heat with a blow-dryer to activate the product. This versatile spray will lighten the darker regrowth, lessening the contrast between highlighted or coloured hair and your roots. After 3-5 applications you will begin to see gradual lightening, so continue use until you've reached the shade that closely matches the rest of your hair (no more than 10 applications). Touch-up as necessary when approximately one inch of regrowth appears.
